Indian Nationals traveling to Mauritius for tourist or business purposes will be granted a 60 day visa on arrival provided that they have a valid return ticket, that they are eligible to re-enter their country of origin or residence and have adequate funds to meet the cost of their stay. Persons wishing to spend more than 60 days in Mauritius for any purpose will still have to apply for a visa. Visa Categories :

Business

The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the period of stay allowed in Mauritius.
Two visa forms (photocopy allowed) duly completed.
Two recent passport-size photographs.
Confirmed onward/ return air ticket.
Onward visa.
Proof of adequate funds in the form of foreign exchange endorsement on passport and original receipt.
Bank statement for last 3 months.
Income tax return for last 3 years.
Copy of Credit card.
Confirmed booking of accommodation is also required.
A Covering Letter from the local Firm/ Company recommending the travel and stating the Designation of the Applicant.
A Letter of Invitation from the Business counterpart/ s clearly stating the nature of business and the duration of stay in Mauritius.
For certain businesses, a Work Permit for the corresponding period may also be required.
If the stay is sponsored by a Mauritian citizen, a letter is required from the Sponsor stating his/ her name, address and the relationship.
Visa is valid for 90 days with single entry and can also be issued for a maximum stay of 90 days.
Processing time is 5 working days.
Visa is Gratis (free).

Tourist

The Mauritius tourist visa is granted to travelers entering Mauritius for travel or leisure purpose and is valid for a total of 90 days or less. Most of the countries do not require a visa for Mauritius or can obtain a visa on arrival valid for 90 days or 14 days.

Citizens from the following countries are offered a visa on arrival for 90 days.

Upon arrival in Mauritius, Indian nationals are eligible for a visa for a maximum stay of 60 days, provided they hold:

Air Mauritius will accept passengers with confirmed booking for a return flight within 60 days. If passengers hold a ticket for a stay beyond 60 days, they must apply for a visa from the Mauritius High Commission in Delhi prior to departure.
